The contract is for enhancements and future warranty of the Kimley-Horn Integrated Transportation System (KITS) advance transportation management system. Austin Transportation and Public Works utilizes the KITS software to communicate with and control intelligent transportation system devices including traffic signals, closed-circuit television cameras, dynamic message signs, and transit signal priority.
