This contract was reviewed for subcontracting opportunities in accordance with City Code Chapter 2-9B (Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program). For the services required for this contract, there were no subcontracting opportunities; therefore, no subcontracting goals were established.

Additional Backup Information:

This contract will provide continued support for the Snowflake single platform data management software. Snowflake is a SaaS(software as a service) that managesvarious types of data across the City by securely sharing and processing real-time and shared data and providing a data warehouse environment for reporting needs. This amendment is needed due to the increased costs for services to complete data migration from on-premises to cloud platform data warehouse needs. 

 

If the proposed amendment is not approved, Communications and Technology Management will not be able to use self-service functionality available in the Snowflake cloud platform.
