Additional Backup Information:
The Board of Regents of the University of Texas is requesting the Right-of-Way (ROW) Encroachment Agreement for the use and benefit of the University of Texas to permanently encroach within the Whitis Avenue ROW, for areas containing approximately 597 square feet. The encroachment areas are to install underground thermal, telecommunication, and fire protection utilities. The existing surface improvements disturbed by underground utilities will be re-installed to match existing conditions.
All affected departments and private utility franchise holders reviewed this request and recommend approval. Per Chapter 14-11-51(D) of the City Code, the Director determined that additional review of the encroachment is not necessary, by a memorandum dated June 17, 2025.
