The grant funding for this 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) position is provided by United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) for Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
The goal of the USCRI Refugee Health Grant is to provide health screening, assessment, referral services, and follow-up for refugees, Amerasians, Cuban/Haitian Entrants, asylees, and U. S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Refugee Resettlement-certified victims of severe forms of trafficking, and certain Iraqis and Afghans granted special immigrant status by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2024 grant budget includes one additional grant-funded Nurse Practitioner FTE position, which brings total grant staff from 12 to 13 FTE's.
The Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2024 grant award was increased by the grantor to $3,186,536 from the Federal Fiscal Year 2022-2023 grant amount of $2,863,085.
