Additional Backup Information:

This acquisition consists of approximately 0.207 acres located adjacent to Northern Walnut Creek Greenbelt. The purpose of this acquisition will be for a pocket park and trailhead and form an assemblage of park properties, consisting of 300, 302, and 304 Cedarbrook Court, thus expanding the Northern Walnut Creek Greenbelt at this location. This expansion was a recommendation identified in Our Parks, Our Future Austin Parks and Recreation Long-Range Plan.

This acquisition is funded through parkland dedication funds, and the 2018 Bond, Proposition C. An independent third-party appraisal was procured to establish the fair-market valuation of the proposed acquisition. The appraisal supports the purchase price of $235,913. The amount of the purchase price plus closing costs is not to exceed $239,913.
