Additional Backup Information:
The City acquired a hotel with the goal of establishing a Family Shelter for victims of domestic violence. This initiative aims to improve service accessibility in the Austin area for individuals experiencing domestic violence by expanding available housing options and providing additional support to meet the needs of those in crisis.

The original construction contract funded initial building renovations. During construction the project team identified that the existing elevator was not functioning, the existing hot water system was not operational, and the existing subflooring required repairs.
