If approved, this ordinance will amend the Land Development Code in response to HB 14 and HB 3699, which were passed during this year's legislative session. HB 14 creates appeal rights; and rights to third party review and inspection for development documents under certain conditions. HB 3699 amends state law regulations related to subdivisions. These bills go into effect on September 1st. The processes in the Land Development Code do not align with the requirements imposed under these bills. A memorandum explaining the proposed changes will be submitted prior to Council action.
