By this action, Council will hold the public hearing required by state statute on the proposed City Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, which begins on October 1, 2026, and ends on September 30, 2027. The Council will adopt the Budget at a subsequent meeting, with budget and tax rate adoption meetings currently scheduled for August 12th, and 14th and 17th, 2026, if necessary.
