Fiscal Note
Funding in the amount of $20,000 is included in the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Austin Public Health Department Operating Budget. Funding for the remaining terms is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.

January 31, 2019 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of an interlocal agreement with University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston to provide evaluation services for the Fresh for Less Healthy Food Access projects, on a 10-0 vote.

Approval of this item will authorize Austin Public Health to continue to contract with University of Texas Health Science Center for the purpose of evaluating Austin Public Health's Fresh for Less Healthy Food Access programs. These evaluations will consist of qualitative and quantitative analysis to support Austin Public Health in gauging and improving outcomes of the healthy food access initiatives.
