Additional Backup Information:
This contract is for the installation of a new floating dock for the Camacho Recreation Center for use by the Parks and Recreation Department's (PARD) which provides nature-based outdoor recreation adventure programs for youth, teens, and adults. The new floating dock is needed to sustain an increase in enrollment in the boating, kayak, and canoe programming offered through the recreation center. The existing dock cannot serve the increased number of attendees, and the current dock's American with Disabilities Act (ADA) component is outdated, inefficient, and difficult to maintain. The new dock will also include a storage structure needed to provide and store equipment used for programming purposes, and the current storage structures hamper the programming.
