This contract is for the installation of a new floating dock with a built-in storage structure for use by the Parks and Recreation Department's (PARD) Camacho Recreation Center, located in east Austin, which provides nature-based outdoor recreation adventure programs for youth, teens, and adults. The new floating dock is needed to sustain an increase in enrollment in the boating, kayak, and canoe programming offered through the recreation center. The existing dock cannot serve the increased number of attendees, and the current dock's American with Disabilities Act (ADA) component is outdated, inefficient, and difficult to maintain.
