The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program is administered by the Office of the Governor Public Safety Office (PSO), with funding from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. A proposal titled Role-Based Cybersecurity Training was submitted to and approved by the PSO. The proposal is to provide high-level security training to City staff responsible for computer or information systems. This grant would provide funding for the Role-Based Cybersecurity Training project and would be used for course registrations.
This resolution will provide the authority required by the PSO for the City to accept and spend $60,000 in grant funding. The project period is January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
