The proposed ordinance reduces local amendments and decreases conflicting information. The Development Services Department obtained stakeholder feedback through the Public Input platform.
Additional UPC local amendments have been included to implement landscape transformation of new single-family homes and to achieve necessary water savings, as described in the 2018 and 2024 Water Forward Plans and the 2024 Water Conservation Plan.
