Austin Clubhouse is an Austin-based nonprofit that offers support in employment, housing, education, and health and wellness for adults with mental illness.  Their outreach and supportive services program focus on connecting members to community resources, building connections with health and human services providers, expanding supportive housing opportunities and stability, increasing community awareness, and growing membership and resources.

 

Approval of this item will authorize negotiation and execution of an agreement with Austin Clubhouse beginning October 1, 2024, to continue support of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Outreach and Support Services Program agreement.  Through this agreement, Austin Clubhouse will provide outreach and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness.  If authorization of the agreement is not approved, then it will limit the provision of outreach and supportive services for adults with mental health illness.
