This item will authorize the negotiation and execution of a water utility service contract with Manville Water Service Corporation (Manville WSC) for service to the Austin Energy Cameron Warehouse. The City of Austin entered into a purchase and sale agreement with Trammel Crow Company for the land, building, tenant improvements and furniture, fixtures and equipment. The project is complete and the purchase has been executed. There is an existing Manville WSC service which needs to be transferred to Austin Energy. Council authorization for this contract is necessary because the contract requires the City of Austin to convey future easements to Manville WSC across the property for system- wide purposes, if so requested. The purchase of the property was completed in May 2025 and is currently operational.
