Funding in the amount of $178,685 is included in the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Austin Public Health Department's Operating Budget. Funding for future extension options is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.
Prior Council Action:
May 19, 2022 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of Amendment No. 4 to the agreement with the University of Texas at Austin to provide African American mental health and wellness services, to add three 12-month extension options each in an amount not to exceed $178,685, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $1,072,110, approved on consent in an 11-0 vote.
June 20, 2019 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of an agreement with four social services agencies to provide African American mental health and wellness services for a 12-month term beginning July 1, 2019, and two 12-month extension options, each in an amount not to exceed $500,000, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $1,500,000, approved on consent in a 10-0 vote.
