On June 1, 2023, City Council approved Resolution No. 20230601-047, which instructed staff to revise City Code Title 25 related to application procedures for amending the Future Land Use Map (FLUM). In partial response to City Council direction, staff recommended adoption of an ordinance that would enable applicants to submit applications for FLUM amendments at any time (case C20-2023-015 Eliminate Neighborhood Plan Amendment Filing Deadlines).
In order to fully respond to Resolution No. 20230601-047, staff also recommends the adoption of a separate revision to City Code Title 25 to eliminate filing deadlines for amendments to Station Area Plans. (C20-2023-029: Eliminate Station Area Plan Amendment Filing Deadlines).
