Balcones Ridge Resiliency, LLC, a subsidiary of Jupiter Power LLC, on behalf of LCRA Transmission Services Corporation, a Texas not-for-profit corporation of the Lower Colorado River Authority, seeks to purchase from the City an electric transmission easement across the City-owned property located at 18524 FM 969, Austin, Texas 78653, along Blake Manor Road, to support the transmission of up to 100 megawatts of electricity from a utility-scale battery facility. This 100-megawatt utility-scale energy storage project will assist in stabilizing the energy grid and support Austin's clean energy goals.
