Prior Council Action:
* November 20, 2025 - City Council adopted Ordinance No. 20251120-044, however, a correction to the written boundary description is needed to accurately reflect the intended east-west boundaries. The correction swaps the previously stated east and west boundaries: the area is bounded by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the south, West 29th Street on the north, North Lamar Boulevard on the west, and an eastern boundary running from Guadalupe Street along West 24th Street, San Gabriel Street, and Rio Grande Street.
* September 11, 2025 - Council adopted Resolution No. 20250911-047 directing the preparation of a draft ordinance to designate new Homestead Preservation Districts, including a feasibility study for West Campus and the preparation of an ordinance if found eligible.
