This proposed acquisition is required for park and recreation purposes and consists of approximately 0.7894 acres of Sidewalk, Trail, and Recreational Easement adjacent to Copperfield Neighborhood Park. This acquisition will create a trail connection for residents in the adjacent development, linking Jourdan Crossing to the Copperfield nature trail, and bringing new residents into a park service area.
An independent third-party appraisal was procured to establish the fair market value of the proposed acquisition. The appraisal supports the purchase price of $111,758. The amount of the purchase price plus closing costs is not to exceed $114,758.
