Additional Backup Information:
The contractor will administer emergency childcare and family support services in Austin/Travis County by providing critical support to children, childcare programs, and families with young children, using Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The contract will support the following programs: Pre-K Partnership; Home-Based Childcare; Non-Traditional Childcare; Share Services; Family Connects; ConnectATX; 2-1-1; Parenting Students; Summer Learning Loss; Summer and Afterschool Programming Quality.
Resolution No. 20210610-077, approved by Council on June 10, 2021, confirms Council's intent to use a portion of the City's federal ARPA allocation to accomplish the recommendations of the Success by Six (SX6) Coalition Strategic Plan presented in the following documents:
