Fiscal Note
Funding in the amount not to exceed $36,000 will be provided by the Comptroller. The grant period extends from the execution of the Grant Agreement through August 31, 2022. A City funding match is required. Fiscal notes are attached.

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has awarded the City of Austin Fleet Mobility Services Department four separate SECO grant funds in the amount of $9,000 each. The grant funds will be applied toward the installation of Level 2 electrical vehicle charging station infrastructure identified at four various sites within the City of Austin. In collaboration with Public Works and Austin Energy, a total of 13 charging stations and 26 charging ports will be installed to support the electrification of the City of Austin's fleet.
The goal of the grant program is to reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions. This grant will therefore help the City achieve its sustainability goals and try to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
