Fiscal Note
Funding in the amount of $150,000 is included in the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Austin Public Health Department Operating Budget. Funding for the remaining terms is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.

Prior Council Action:
April 7, 2022- Council authorized the negotiation and execution of agreements with 17 social service agencies, on a 9-1 vote with Mayor Adler voting nay and Council Member Harper-Madison absent.

Additional Backup Information:
Approval of this funding for the Austin Independent School District's VICTORY Tutorial Program will provide tutoring and academic support for low-income youth. The program provides high quality, academic support to help students reach grade level standards in core subjects. Campus administration and teachers will be able to offer tutoring services to students with a high need and no access to resources, to increase academic achievement, advancement to the next grade, and/or graduation for all students served. The term for this agreement is from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023.
