Of the 17 offers received; the recommended contractor submitted the best evaluated responsive offer. Additional Backup Information:
The contract will provide a turnkey public health disease surveillance software solution. Austin Public Health (APH) monitors and investigates reports of certain notifiable health conditions within Travis County and the greater Austin area. In order to help facilitate this purpose, APH receives electronic lab reports from the state and other clinical laboratories. The turnkey disease surveillance software solution is able to capture, process, track, monitor, and report on the received lab reports. The solution allows for the capture of disease specific information related to the case investigation and disposition of these cases. The solution also electronically interfaces with state disease surveillance systems.
An evaluation team with expertise in this area evaluated the offers and scored Forefront Topco LLC d/b/a InductiveHealth Informatics as the best to provide these services based on proposed solution, experience, references, and qualifications, project management structure and personnel, price, local business presence, and service-disabled veteran business enterprise.
