The proposed amendment will provide additional time and funding for electric vehicle plug-in charging station software and support services for the 1,400 ChargePoint-compatible charging stations throughout the Austin Energy service area. ChargePoint's platform integrates with station hardware from multiple manufacturers to connect stations over an integrated network, providing real-time information on station usage and enabling connection and registration of charging stations, data collection and reporting reliability support, and driver access for payment processing and subscription.
