Funding in the amount of $27,801 is available from the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Austin Public Health Department Operating Budget Special Revenue Fund.

Prior Council Action:
February 17, 2022 - Council authorized the negotiation and execution of contracts with providers of HIV related services under the Ryan White Part A HIV Emergency Relief and Minority AIDS Initiative Grant Programs, on an 11-0 vote.

July 6, 2021 - The Austin HIV Planning Council approved Part A budget allocations by service type, which are used to determine individual allocations for subrecipients when a Notice of Award is received from the Grantor.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide HIV-related primary medical care, medications, and critical support services to people living with HIV in the ten-county Health Service Delivery Area, which includes Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano, Travis, and Williamson counties for the 2022-2023 grant term of March 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023. The funding is provided by Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration
