Additional Backup Information:
The contract will provide maintenance, support, and licenses for General Electric (GE) Proficy GlobalCare software. The software is used in the daily operation of Austin Water treatment facilities including treatment plants, water distribution facilities, and wastewater collections facilities. The software is part of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system which is required to monitor and control the process equipment at these facilities. SCADA is a critical system for Austin Water operations and is used 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

Gray Matter Systems South LLC d/b/a Gray Matter Systems is the sole representative of GE Proficy GlobalCare software within the State of Texas. The continued licensing and maintenance of this software is critical to supporting Austin Water key daily operations.
