Authorize negotiation and execution of an agreement with Get Up Project d/b/a Hope Medical Clinic to provide health education and navigation services prioritizing the Austin Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, for a 12-month term beginning April 1, 2023, and one 12-month extension option, each in an amount not to exceed $100,000, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $200,000.

Funding in the amount of $100,000 is included in the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Austin Public Health Department Operating Budget. Funding for the remaining terms is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.

Get Up Project provides case management, chronic illness support groups, education classes, translation services, and referral services for physical, dental, behavioral, and mental health needs. It has a successful track record serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. The Get Up Project submitted all required documentation and passed the minimum qualifications to receive social services funding.
