Additional Backup Information:
If approved, this ordinance will waive all permitting and development fees through March 31, 2023, that, in the judgment of the Building Official, are required to repair or reconstruct multi-family and single-family structures damaged or destroyed during the 2023 Winter Weather Event. The waiver also includes City fees required for removal of trees and limbs. The fees covered by this waiver include, but are not limited to, permitting, plan review, inspection, demolition, and variance fees; but do not include fees for re-inspections. The ordinance will also waive late-payment fees on city utility bills that fell due during the weather event and for the following week to account for delays caused by outages, storm cleanup, and postal delays.
